SPRING SPORTS 2021 General Guidelines
-Close fitting face masks are required by all, to use when entering and supporting team. No masks to be used while playing any spring sport.
-No gum chewing or sunflower seeds.
-Locker rooms use will be available but limited
-Social Distancing whenever possible
-Hand sanitizer/sanitizing wipes will be available at all venues.
-Sanitation of equipment will take place before, during, and after use.
-Extra masks available for distribution/replacement.
-No hand shake line at the conclusion of games/matches/etc.
-Temp check and self-assessment checklist required for practices and games.

WPS 2021 Spring Sports Spectator Policy (WPS: 2021 Spring Spectator Policy Closely following the 2021 CIAC Spring Guidelines and guidance from CDC and DPH as of March 19, 2021, Watertown Public Schools Spring season athletic events will be open to spectators in a limited capacity. To ensure a safe experience for our athletes and spectators, please adhere to the following guidelines)
-Spectators Limited to Family Members: All events will be open to family members only, (ie parents, guardians, grandparents, siblings, etc.)
-Mask Wearing: Masks are mandatory at all venues, including district and town fields/locations.
-Crowd Control: Spectators must adhere to social distancing protocol and maintain 6 feet of distance between families. Spectators should not congregate or create crowds before, during or after games/practices.
-Promptly Exit: Once the competition is complete, promptly exit the venue in a staggered manner and refrain from congregating in groups.
Spring Sports 2021 REGISTRATION
Swift Middle School Athletics uses an online registration system called FamilyID. FamilyID is an easy to use program requiring entry of various fields including name, address, sport, and emergency information.
If you are interested in trying out for a sport listed for that season, you are required to complete the online registration by clicking the sports registration link below and having an updated physical on file. Registration and updated physicals must be completed by Thursday 3/25/21 10:00 pm in order for a student to participate in Spring sports.

- At the bottom of the page, Create a new account and register. **Note if you already have an account you do not need to create a new one.
- $80.00 FEE WILL NOT BE DUE UNTIL FINAL ROSTER IS CHOSEN.
NOTE: If you are not sure if your physical is up to date please contact the nurse's office or athletic director. Form below can be completed by your physician.
